itunes rented movie won't play

I have the same problem. Tried restarting I tunes and mac did not help. In another forum they noted that 'switch to mini player' in the window tab solved the problem but for me this did not work. Please assist.

Assuming you rented the movie using iTunes on your computer and you are now using this same computer to view it:

• you must be logged in using your Apple ID
• you must be connected to Wi-Fi to begin viewing the movie

Not working for me, I see mini player (stalled) I see movie with now only 16 hours remaining, and I see big black screen. It feels like i just got ripped off
